Elevator Bungee Rigging Procedure

The following notes and rigging information is very important for the proper longitudinal stability of the Meyers 200.  The stick forces in pitch were too low, almost in the fighter aircraft range, so this system was created to put the proper force on the elevator system with flaps up in cruise.

Mis-rigging can cause stability problems, autopilot pitch porpoising, and extreme sensitivity to gust induced altitude deviations.  Properly rigged, the Meyers is one of the best handling, stable aircraft ever designed.  Improperly rigged, it can be a handful.
